Hi, Jane. Just wanted to wish you and Cliff a happy holiday.
I was with L.B. the other night, and we regaled everyone with stories of our Iceland trip. While the trip was harder work at times than we all had anticipated, it provided many adventures and great memories. One of my strongest memories is the leadership you and the indefatiguable Cliff provided, which propelled us handily through every challenge. As I've said in the past, I'd follow you anywhere.

My friend Renee, who went on your hike last weekend, looked sunnier than I've seen her in months. She was laughing, and saying what a great time she had, and what an outrageous woman you are! She thoroughly enjoyed the hike. She's had a really tough time since her partner died suddenly of a heart attack last November, and she became a single mom. Just wanted you to know what a difference you make! Hope to get on a hike sometime soon.

Thanks so much to you and to Sue for giving us that luxurious pampering this weekend. It was just what we all needed, and Sue obviously acted with such genuine care and thoughtfulness that we all basked like parched plants in a hothouse! I will never forget that 'failed' chocolate dessert! Please sign me up for her next weekend, March 31, and I will bring some supplies for women who need clip-on, not pierced earrings. I REALLY REALLY loved skiing this weekend and the 7 hour drive was nothing. I really liked Erin and Maryann and everyone and their stories. See you soon!
